Instructor Certifications

Hanamizuki dojo is only able to award teacher license for renshi and jokyou. The hanshi license must be issued from Okinawa by qualified leaders in Okinawa karate. The kyoshi license must be issued by an instructor that is at least a kyoshi hachi dan. The president of Hanamizuki ryu is currently a kyoshi nanadan. License are issued by letter instead of a certificate. It is our belief that rank can not be resended but there may be circumstances that require revocation or suspension of a license. License are issued for life unless revocation is necessary. Only the president of Hanamizuki dojo/dogwood ministries can issue letters of license or suspend or revoke licenses. The yudansha of hanamizuki will be given at least one week notice of a license being issued. It is their duty to notify the president of any reason a license should not be issued.
